Chinaecarts Privacy Policy Chinaecarts operates its internal records system in accordance with standards similar to European Data Protection Law requirements. In summary: - No data that we hold about you will ever be shared with third parties. - Employees of Chinaecarts are contracted to confidentiality clauses. - Your email address will never be shared or abused. - We do not store any data about you that is excessive to our requirements. - We do not track or store personalised details about your web browsing. - Customer data is stored securely and disposal of records on paper is via shredding. - If you wish to know what data we have on record about you or your orders you are entitled to request a copy. In situations where we have to request e.g. credit card scans / bill copies for first order payment verification (a standard anti-fraud measure which is detailed in our knowledgebase), then we will not store any of your submitted data longer than is necessary to complete the verification check on your orders. Chinaecarts Terms and Conditions – Eligibility For Accounts And Purchases Anyone, whether a company or private individual, may sign up for a Chinaecarts wholesale buyer account. The same benefits and terms apply to all Chinaecarts registrants. (Chinaecarts accounts are only available to people over the age of 18.) The only major exception to the above is that Chinaecarts is an export wholesaler only, so we cannot ship to addresses inside Mainland China! Customers are required to register with full and accurate personal data and contact details. Pseudonyms are not accepted. Companies registering are still required to have a named individual both on the account billing address and order shipping addresses. Every Chinaecarts account must have a valid phone number which we can use to contact you in the case of order queries or delivery exceptions. Chinaecarts strongly advises customers to register an account with the same details as the person / company making the payments for orders. If the Chinaecarts account does not match your payment source this is likely to lead to delays processing your first order while we contact you to verify the payment is authorised. In the case of dropshippers we advise making your first purchase a delivery to your own billing address in order for us to verify that you are a bona fide customer. Are customers who register at Chinaecarts under any obligations? Customers who register at Chinaecarts are implicitly acknowledging that they agree to all our terms and conditions as published in this section of our online Knowledgebase. Registrants are required to submit full and true contact details. There are no contractual obligations to buy anything at Chinaecarts.com There are no membership fees or hidden charges for ordering from Chinaecarts. Please find out from your country’s Customs about possible import duties, taxes, charges, and regulations pertaining to imported goods. Are there any minimum order quantities or maximum order limitations? Basically, no. Chinaecarts has no MOQ and can also fulfil very large orders of electronics, including factory production runs beyond our warehouse stock capacity. Before placing orders over 100 pcs of any product you are advised to begin by ordering smaller batches of samples. Customers requiring bulk lots of over 200 pcs are advised to order samples first then revert to Chinaecarts using the ticket system to request special price & delivery quotations. Are there situations where orders are not accepted? Chinaecarts reserves the right to cancel orders and return payments if the ordered goods are not available or the customer’s account or payment do not meet the conditions for delivery. Chinaecarts recommends all customers make their first purchase for samples of products rather than large wholesale lots. This allows you to evaluate which products are suitable for your market, and makes it faster for us to approve your first order. Large first orders are subject to payment verification checks, which can delay the processing of the order. Common reasons for immediate cancellation and refund of orders are: - Non-authorised dropshipping / shipping to an address substantially different to the billing address. Please see our notes in the knowledgebase about how we verify first-time customers’ accounts for dropshipping and delivery to addresses other than the billing / payment address. If orders are received which do not meet immediate approval, they will enter a checking process for up to three working days, in which Chinaecarts will attempt to contact the customer to verify that the payment is authorised. - Orders which appear to be blatant fraud attempts, e.g. shipments to Nigeria, will be immediately cancelled and the payment returned to the originating Paypal account. - Orders submitted with insufficient delivery details, e.g. PO box addresses; incomplete addresses; no delivery phone number; no tax details for certain countries; no agreement received to special import / declaration / delivery terms communicated by Chinaecarts. In such cases Chinaecarts will make all reasonable attempts to contact the customer to update the order details, including emailing from two different addresses and telephoning the customer at least once. If confirmation is not received the order will be cancelled and refunded within another 5 working days, and an explanation provided in the comments for the refund. - Customers who have open Paypal disputes, complaints, chargebacks, etc on other orders on their account may have new orders put on hold or cancelled/refunded depending on the nature of the case. - Customers who have past disapproved / cancelled orders on their account - Customers attempting to order with Paypal payments, who have been refunded on previous orders for not meeting payment verification standards, and who have been requested to pay by bank transfer instead, will have their orders immediately rejected. - Customers who attempt to open a new Chinaecarts account to circumvent order cancellation records on previous accounts will be subject to immediate order cancellations. Chinaecarts reserves the right to cancel accounts and refuse processing of orders at their discretion and for reasons above and beyond the criteria mentioned above. In cases where orders are refused before processing, Chinaecarts will attempt to refund the full original payment to the best of their ability. Chinaecarts operates a strict policy in relation to abusive or inappropriate communications with our employees. This includes abuse of the website reviews system and other commentable parts of the website such as the blog or forums. Customers will be warned in such cases before accounts are suspended. |

The processing company will communicate with the issuing bank of your credit card in order to get final approval to charge your credit card for the product or services we are providing for you. Should you choose to receive additional information regarding one of our services or products, we may pass your email address to one of our partners who offers similar products or services that you might be interested in. Chinaecarts Terms and Conditions – Refunds and Cancellation Can customers cancel an order? There is no need to contact Chinaecarts to cancel orders which have not been paid for. These orders will expire automatically after a certain period. Chinaecarts permits checking out of orders using the online shopping cart as a system for customers to generate proforma invoices for themselves and to keep records of prospective purchases. Only orders that have actually been paid for are activated and entered into the order checking / processing system. In general, Chinaecarts can accept requests for cancellation of paid orders up to the working day on which the order enters the status “processing”. Customers can request cancellation of orders by phone or email (support ticket) quoting their order number. If a customer requests cancellation of an order after the order is in processing (i.e. goods checking and packing) in our warehouse, or after the goods have actually been dispatched from the warehouse into the delivery logistics system, Chinaecarts reserves the right to charge a restocking fee, deducted from the resultant refund or credit. In fact in most cases we will not charge this fee, because we are nice people. If you have made a payment using Paypal, and the payment is “pending”, e.g. waiting for an e-check to clear, Chinaecarts can accept cancellation at this stage, and the refund can be made in the form of cancelling the receipt of the payment in Paypal before it clears. In these cases the customer needs to provide a Paypal transaction ID. Does Chinaecarts deduct restocking fees on cancelled orders? - Orders will be refunded in full without any deduction of restocking fees in the majority of cases. In particular, where an order is cancelled or refused during the initial order checking process, the full payment will be refunded. - In the majority of cases where a customer requests a cancellation and refund during the time an order is in processing, prior to the dispatch of the items from the warehouse, a full refund can be made without the deduction of any restocking fees or other fees. - If an apparently bona fide order has been placed, and has entered processing in our warehouse, Chinaecarts does reserve the right to charge a restocking fee up to 20% of the value of the goods, at our discretion. The most likely instance where this is applicable is where the customer requests a cancellation of the order for reasons beyond Chinaecarts’s control, but the goods have already been dispatched from the warehouse and Chinaecarts actually incurs costs physically returning packages from Hong Kong or Shenzhen depots back to our warehouse. Another possible instance where we may charge restocking fees is where a customer cancels several processing orders all at the same time. - Additional charges may be deducted from refunds in cases where goods have been shipped overseas and are returned for reasons beyond Chinaecarts’s control, and where as a result Chinaecarts incurs return shipping charges and China import duties and taxes, as well as further domestic shipping expenses. - If the consignee refuses to accept receipt of goods because they have changed their mind about the purchase, or because they do not accept paying their own country’s import duties and taxes, or for similar reasons beyond Chinaecarts’s control, Chinaecarts will deduct from the refund all of the expenses incurred in returning the goods to us in China. For this reason it is particularly important for customers to be aware of import regulations in their own country, and for dropship vendors to inform their customers about possible taxes on imported goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not Chinaecarts, to find out full information about import regulations and taxes in the consignee’s country, in advance of placing a payment for an order. How does Chinaecarts offer refunds to customers for cancelled orders / returned orders? The following general conditions apply to refunds made by Chinaecarts: - Refunds can be made in the form of credit extended by Chinaecarts against future orders. - Refunds can also be made using Paypal. - Paypal refunds will be completed within 7 working days of the customer’s request or the confirmation of faulty goods. In most cases the refund will actually be completed within 1 working day. - Orders originally paid by bank transfer are not normally refundable by bank transfer. Refunds can be made to a Paypal account, or in the form of credit for new items. What small print do customers need to be aware of in relation to refunds for returned items? A full refund of the buyer’s original item purchase cost can be made in the case of returned faulty items. This is dependent on the following conditions: a) The customer has communicated with Chinaecarts about the possible fault and received a return slip to authorise the goods return. b) The goods have been received by Chinaecarts with a properly completed returns slip. c) The items have been confirmed by the Chinaecarts technical team as faulty, defective, or unacceptable quality. d) No open Paypal dispute or chargeback exists on the customer’s account. e) There are no other outstanding bills on the customer’s account. Please note your original shipping fee is not refundable unless items were wrongly delivered, or as otherwise discussed with the support team. |
